Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StreakLeague mobile application ("App") operated by Aethon Digital FZCO ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, United Arab Emirates.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use StreakLeague. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to create accounts.

2. Accounts

Your account is identified by your phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may only have one account per phone number. You must not create accounts on behalf of others or use false identity information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Standards.

3. The App — What StreakLeague Does

StreakLeague is a social competition platform. You can:

Challenge friends to head-to-head habit streak duels
Participate in leagues with multiple participants
Receive AI-generated commentary from The Ref, our AI narrator
Share match cards documenting duel outcomes
Track win/loss history and rivalry records with opponents

4. AI-Generated Content — The Ref

The Ref is an AI narrator powered by the Anthropic Claude API. The Ref generates personalised commentary based on your in-app activity. You acknowledge and agree that:

The Ref's commentary is AI-generated and disclosed as such within the App
AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect or unexpected
You will not use The Ref's output for any purpose outside normal App use without our written permission
Attempting to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract The Ref's system prompts is a violation of these Terms

The Ref operates under strict content guidelines. It will never generate content targeting your appearance, body, sexuality, race, religion, mental health, disability, family, or relationships. A minimum dignity floor is enforced on all AI outputs.

5. User Content and Conduct

You may submit content including display names, habit descriptions, and duel stakes ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a licence to use, store, and display it within the App.

You agree not to submit User Content that is:

Illegal, threatening, harassing, or defamatory
Sexually explicit or involving minors
Discriminatory based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or national origin
Designed to impersonate another person
Spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation

We use automated moderation to review User Content before it is displayed. Content that fails moderation will not be published. You may report content that violates these standards using the in-app report function.

6. Duel Stakes and Forfeits

    Important: StreakLeague facilitates social accountability agreements between users. Stakes and forfeits are personal agreements between participants. Aethon Digital FZCO is not responsible for the enforcement, settlement, or outcome of any stake or forfeit. We do not handle money between users, escrow funds, or arbitrate forfeit disputes.
  

Users are solely responsible for agreeing on and honouring stakes with their opponents. Abusive or exploitative use of the stakes mechanic (including threats related to forfeits) may result in account suspension.

7. Match Cards and Shared Content

At the conclusion of a duel, an AI-generated match card may be created summarising the outcome. Match cards stored in public storage may be shared via link outside the App. By sharing a match card, you acknowledge that:

The card may include your display name, habit, streak record, and AI-generated commentary
Shared cards are publicly accessible to anyone with the link
You are responsible for ensuring your opponent is comfortable with shared content

8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

StreakLeague Pro

StreakLeague Pro is a subscription offering additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via the App Store or Google Play. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Consumable and one-time purchases

The App offers consumable items (e.g. Rain Delay, Ref Report) and one-time cosmetic purchases (e.g. themes). Consumable items are used when redeemed and are not refundable. Cosmetic purchases are tied to your account.

Restore Purchases

You may restore eligible previous purchases via Settings → Restore Purchases. Consumable items that have been used cannot be restored.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies.

9. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications about your duels, check-in reminders, and league activity. Notifications are never sent between 23:00 and 07:00 in your local timezone. You may disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal information is anonymised and your account access is revoked.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive conduct, or use the App in a way that causes harm to other users or to us. In cases of serious violation, we may terminate without prior notice.

11. Disclaimers

StreakLeague is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated content (The Ref's commentary) is provided for entertainment purposes and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.

StreakLeague is not a fitness, health, medical, or wellness application. Habit tracking within the App is for social competition purposes only.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aethon Digital FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any outcomes related to duel stakes, forfeits, or shared content.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the regulations of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the UAE.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via push notification or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
